Tinea capitis
Tinea capitis is a superficial fungal infection of the scalp and hair. It can be divided into three types according to the pathogens and clinical manifestations: yellow tinea, white tinea and black spot tinea. It is more common in children and is highly contagious. It is easily transmitted between nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools and families.
