Coronary heart disease
Coronary heart disease is the abbreviation of coronary heart disease, also known as ischemic heart disease. It is a heart disease caused by organic stenosis or blockage of the coronary arteries (i.e. atherosclerosis or dynamic vasospasm), resulting in myocardial ischemia, hypoxia or myocardial necrosis. It often occurs after the age of 40 and can be seen in daily life. Clinical manifestations include sudden chest tightness and pain, shortness of breath, sweating, pale complexion, and the patient is forced to stop activities. Mild cases can be relieved by themselves within a few minutes and gradually return to normal after rest.
