Chronic pharyngitis
Chronic pharyngitis is a diffuse inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa, submucosal and lymphoid tissues. It is often a part of upper respiratory tract inflammation. It is more common in adults, with a long course of disease, stubborn symptoms and difficult to cure. Chronic pharyngitis often occurs due to repeated attacks of acute pharyngitis, pus irritating the pharynx from rhinitis and sinusitis, or mouth breathing due to nasal congestion. In addition, it is closely related to certain unexplained diseases or symptoms, such as endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction, rheumatoid arthritis, long-term low fever, headache, dizziness, bad breath and loss of smell.
