Lamellar ichthyosis
Lamellar ichthyosis is an epidermolytic hyperkeratotic ichthyosis, also known as bullous congenital ichthyosis-like erythroderma. It is an autosomal dominant genetic disease with a high malformation rate. It is rare in clinical practice. It often causes ectropion of the eyelids and lips. After a few days, the membrane falls off, and the skin becomes widespread and chronically flushed, with large gray-white or gray-brown polygonal or diamond-shaped scales on it, which are fixed in the center and free at the edges. It often occurs symmetrically throughout the body, and is more obvious in the flexor side of the limbs, elbow fossa, fossa, axillae and vulva. The palms and soles are hyperkeratotic, and the nails and hair grow excessively. There may be generalized and localized damage after birth or a few months after birth.
