Vaginal rhabdomyosarcoma
Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a highly malignant tumor. The tumor can occur anywhere in the body. Slightly less than 25% of tumors originate from the urogenital tract. The site of occurrence is related to age. It is more common in the vagina in infants and young children, in the cervix in young and middle-aged people, and in the uterine body in the elderly. Vaginal rhabdomyosarcoma is rare, usually occurring in infants under 5 years old, and can occur in children from 6 months to 16 years old, with an average age of 1.8 years.
