Vulvar Leiomyosarcoma
Vulvar leiomyosarcoma is rare, but it is the most common type of vulvar sarcoma. Vulvar leiomyosarcoma accounts for 33% to 68% of vulvar sarcomas. It is more common in women aged 30 to 50, but it also occurs in young girls. The age range is 14 to 84 years old, with a median age of 54 years old and a peak of 40 to 60 years old. Children's vulvar sarcoma is mostly grape-shaped sarcoma. This disease is a low-grade malignant tumor originating from smooth muscle. The tumor grows rapidly and nuclear division is common. Lymph node metastasis is rare.
