Adult Still’s disease
Still's disease is a seronegative polyarthritis, a type of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. It was first reported by Still (1897). Its clinical features include long-term irregular fever, accompanied by enlargement of the liver, spleen, and lymph nodes, anemia, leukocytosis, multiple large, medium, and small arthritis, and muscle lesions. This disease is different from adult rheumatoid arthritis in both clinical manifestations and pathology. Its systemic symptoms are more prominent, rheumatoid factors are mostly negative, and it is related to HLA-B27.
