Pregnancy complicated by polycythemia
Polycythaemia refers to the number of red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit in a unit volume of peripheral blood that is higher than normal, but does not include the number of white blood cells and platelets. In the past, it was called polycythemia abroad. Its actual meaning is pancytopenia, including an increase in the number of white blood cells and platelets.
