Chondrodysplasia
Dyschondroplasia is also known as enchondromatosis, Ollier disease, etc. It is characterized by round or columnar cartilaginous masses at the metaphysis of long bones, accompanied by shortening and deformity of the bone shaft, which is particularly common in the phalanges. It was first described by Ollier in 1899. Although its tissue structure is similar to that of enchondroma, it is generally believed that this disease should not be classified as a tumor.
