Lyme scleritis
Lyme disease is an infectious disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi. It can invade multiple organs of the human body, mainly affecting the skin, nervous system, joints, heart and eye tissues. Lyme disease was first discovered by Steere et al. of Yale University in Lyme, Connecticut, USA in 1965, and the first cases were reported in 1977.
