Sebaceous adenoma
Sebaceous adenoma is a benign tumor composed of sebaceous cells arranged in nests. Sebaceous adenoma is mainly composed of sebaceous cells arranged in nests, most of which form small cysts. The stroma is rich in fibrous connective tissue. Some tumors can be seen with histiocytes and foreign body giant cells, without cholesterol crystals. Some tumors can be seen with most duct dilation or obvious eosinophilic metaplasia, at which time the cysts are often not obvious. Mucus carmine staining shows focal positive reaction in the duct epithelium and cavity contents, and negative reaction in sebaceous gland cells.
