Yellow fever
Yellow fever is an acute infectious disease caused by the yellow fever virus, which is mainly transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Severe patients have fever, jaundice, proteinuria, etc. The main vectors are Aedes aegypti in cities and Haemoglottis mosquitoes and Aedes africanus in rural areas. The transmission route is through mosquito bites. The disease is endemic in tropical and subtropical areas of Africa and South America. There are no reports of the disease in Asia.
