Secondary peritonitis
Secondary peritonitis is an acute suppurative inflammation of the peritoneum caused by inflammation, perforation, trauma, blood flow disorders and iatrogenic trauma of the abdominal viscera. It is a serious peritoneal cavity infection. If it is not diagnosed early and treated correctly, the mortality rate is very high. Secondary peritonitis is generally encountered in surgical clinical work.
