Oculo-ear-spinal syndrome in children
Oculoauriculovertebral dysplasia syndrome is a congenital syndrome with eye, ear, face and spine deformities as the main clinical symptoms. 60% to 70% of cases of this syndrome occur in boys. The clinical manifestations are relatively complex. About 10% of cases are mentally retarded, and most cases only show partial signs. This syndrome is also known as Goldenhar syndrome, mandibulofacial dysostosis-epibulbar dermoids syndrome, oculovertebral dysplasia, auriculovertebral syndrome, oculoauriculovertebral dysplasia syndrome, and facioauricul-overtebral anomaly.
