Blood stasis
Blood stasis is a vascular disease that occurs in the extremities. It is mostly caused by paroxysmal spasms of the extremity arteries, which cause the skin to become pale due to ischemia or cyanosis due to local hypoxia. It seems to belong to the syndrome range of "cold limbs" in traditional Chinese medicine. For example, the "Treatise on the Causes and Symptoms of Various Diseases" records that "the meridians all start from the hands and feet. If the body is weak, the blood and qi will be weakened and unable to warm the limbs, so the limbs will be cold."
