Hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome
Hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome is Job syndrome, also known as Yao dermatitis syndrome, chronic granulomatous disease variant (Granulomatous disease variant), Buckley syndrome, etc. This syndrome is a rare disease whose etiology and pathogenesis are still unclear. The main features are: ① chronic eczematous dermatitis; ② repeated severe infections; ③ serum IgE is significantly increased. It was first reported by Davis et al. in 1966 and named Job syndrome. In 1972, Buckley et al. reported cases and found that the IgE in the serum of children was significantly increased, so it was named Buckley syndrome after Buckley. At present, most scholars have replaced the names of Job syndrome and Buckley syndrome with hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome (HIES).
