Simvastatin Tablets
The main ingredient of this product is: Simvastatin. Molecular formula: C25H38O5 Molecular weight: 418.57
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Simvastatin

This product itself is inactive. After oral absorption, its hydrolysis product competitively inhibits the rate-limiting enzyme hydroxymethylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase in the cholesterol synthesis process in the body, reducing the synthesis of cholesterol and increasing the synthesis of low-density lipoprotein receptors. The main site of action is in the liver, resulting in lower blood cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels, moderately lower serum triglyceride levels and increased blood high-density lipoprotein levels. This has an effect on the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.

This product is an angiotensin II receptor (AT1 type) antagonist. It can block the corresponding physiological effects of angiotensin II synthesized from any source and any pathway, selectively acts on AT1 receptors, does not affect the functions of other hormone receptors or important ion channels in the cardiovascular system, and does not inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (kininase II) that degrades bradykinin.

This product is an angiotensin II receptor (AT1 type) antagonist. It can block various pharmacological effects (including vasoconstriction, aldosterone release, etc.) produced by endogenous and exogenous angiotensin II. This product can selectively act on AT1 receptors, does not affect the functions of other hormone receptors or important ion channels in the cardiovascular system, does not inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (kininase II) that degrades bradykinin, and does not affect the metabolic process of angiotensin II and bradykinin.
