Cefoperazone sodium

It achieves bactericidal effect by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell wall. It has bactericidal effect on a wide range of common clinical bacteria and can resist hydrolysis by a variety of beta-lactamases. Bacteria sensitive to this product include Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria.

This product is a β-lactamase-stable cephalosporin bactericidal antibiotic. It works by blocking the synthesis of the main cell wall polymer-peptidoglycan. Because it can quickly penetrate the bacterial cell wall and bind to the target enzyme (penicillin binding protein) with high affinity, it can kill a wide spectrum of Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogens at low concentrations. This has been confirmed in many in vitro studies on hospital- and community-acquired pathogens worldwide, and recent studies have shown that its sensitivity has not changed. Many strains resistant to other injectable cephalosporins or aminoglycosides are still sensitive to this product.

This product is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It has strong activity against Enterobacteriaceae. The MIC90 for Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Citrobacter fluorescens, indole-positive Proteus, Providencia and Serratia is between 0.12 and 0.25 mg/L. Enterobacter cloacae, Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are poorly sensitive to this product. It has a strong antibacterial effect on Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis, and also has a good effect on hemolytic streptococci and pneumococci. The MIC for Staphylococcus aureus is 2 to 4 mg/L. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci and enterococci are resistant to this product. Most Bacteroides fragilis are resistant to this product.

Ceftriaxone sodium

Ceftriaxone is a long-acting, broad-spectrum cephalosporin that produces antibacterial effects by inhibiting the synthesis of cell walls. It has a strong bactericidal effect on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is highly stable to beta-lactamase (including penicillinase and cephalosporinase). In vitro and clinical trials have shown that ceftriaxone sodium has high antibacterial activity against the following Gram-negative bacilli: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus mirabilis, indole-positive Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella and other r/Enterobacteriaceae and Haemophilus influenzae; it also has good antibacterial effects on Gram-negative cocci such as meningococci and gonococci; Gram-positive cocci such as pneumococci, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus viridans, and Streptococcus bovis are all sensitive to this product; it also has a certain antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus, but the antibacterial effect is poorer than that of the above-mentioned Gram-positive cocci. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter are less sensitive to this product. It also has antibacterial activity against some anaerobic bacteria such as Bacteroides fragilis, Clostridium, and Peptococcus.
