This product also has antibacterial effects on various anaerobic bacteria except Bacteroides fragilis and Fusobacterium. It can inhibit the synthesis of DNA and RNA and glucose metabolism of cell lines such as S-180 sarcoma, Ehrlich ascites carcinoma and human tongue squamous cell carcinoma Tca8113 in vitro; it can inhibit the growth of Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, S-180 sarcoma and HePA liver cancer ascites tumor in vivo (tumor inhibition rate 63%), increase peripheral leukocytes, enhance the phagocytic function of the reticuloendothelial system, activate macrophages and lymphocytes, induce thymus lymphocytes to produce active substances, improve and enhance the body's immune function and stress capacity. After injection into the human body, it has the effect of activating phagocytes, NK cells, T.B cell subsets; it has the effect of inducing interferon and interleukin, etc. It can cause chromosomes of tumor cells, viruses, etc. to break and cause apoptosis, and can induce a variety of effector cells and cytokines to produce a "cytokine cocktail" effect, killing viruses and pathogens broadly and inducing tumor cell apoptosis broadly.

This product is an anti-thyroid drug. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit thyroid peroxidase, thereby hindering the oxidation of iodide absorbed into the thyroid gland and the coupling of tyrosine, and hindering the synthesis of thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Animal experiments have observed that it can inhibit the synthesis of antibodies by B lymphocytes, reduce the level of thyroid stimulating antibodies in the blood circulation, and restore the function of inhibitory T cells to normal.
