| Roxithromycin |
This product is a semi-synthetic 14-membered macrolide antibiotic. Its antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial effect are basically similar to those of erythromycin. It is slightly less effective than erythromycin against Gram-positive bacteria, but stronger than erythromycin against Legionella pneumophila. Its antimicrobial effect against Chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Ureaplasma urealyticum is similar to or slightly stronger than that of erythromycin. This product can penetrate the bacterial cell membrane and reversibly bind to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome near the donor (P site), blocking the transfer RNA (t-RNA) from binding to the P site, and also blocking the transfer of the polypeptide chain from the acceptor site (A site) to the P site, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Azithromycin is a 15-membered ring macrolide antibiotic that has antibacterial effects on a variety of Gram-positive aerobic bacteria, Gram-negative aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, sexually transmitted disease microorganisms and other microorganisms. It mainly binds to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome and inhibits RNA-dependent protein synthesis.

This product is a methylhydroxyglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-COA) reductase inhibitor, which inhibits the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol and is a blood lipid regulator. It has the effect of reducing the cholesterol (TC) content in the serum, liver, and aorta of hyperlipidemia rabbits, and reducing the levels of very low density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).
