This product is a semi-synthetic water-soluble antibiotic belonging to the aminoglycoside class. In vitro antibacterial studies have shown that this product has a broad antibacterial spectrum and has good antibacterial effects on a variety of pathogens, including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter, Serratia, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella, Haemophilus influenzae and Staphylococcus, and has certain antibacterial activity against some Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter, and has in vitro MIC values for some gentamicin, gentamicin and cefazolin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which are still within the blood drug concentration range of the therapeutic dose of this product. It also has certain antibacterial activity against some Staphylococci that produce penicillinase and some low-level methicillin-resistant Staphylococci (MRSA). The mechanism of action of this product is to inhibit the normal protein synthesis of sensitive bacteria. The results of animal ototoxicity experiments showed that the ototoxicity of this product after intramuscular injection is lower than that of other aminoglycoside antibiotics, and is similar to that of netilmicin.
