Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Ropivacaine mesylate

It may block the generation and conduction of nerve impulses by increasing the threshold of nerve action potential, delaying the spread of nerve impulses, and reducing the speed of action potential increase. The generation of anesthetic effect is related to the axial diameter, myelination and conduction velocity of nerve fibers.

Epalrestat Capsules
5-[(1Z, 2E)-2-methyl-3-phenylpropenylidene]-4-oxo-2-thioxo-3-thiazolidineacetic acid
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Epalrestat

Epalrestat is a reversible non-competitive inhibitor of aldose reductase, which has a selective inhibitory effect on aldose reductase. Clinical studies have shown that epalrestat can inhibit the accumulation of sorbitol in erythrocytes of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and can improve patients' subjective symptoms and neurological dysfunction compared with the control group. Animal experiments have shown that epalrestat can significantly inhibit the accumulation of sorbitol in the sciatic nerve, erythrocytes, and retina of diabetic model rats, and improve their motor nerve conduction velocity and autonomic nerve function; in terms of nerve morphology, epalrestat can improve axonal flow abnormalities, increase the density of myelinated nerve fibers in the sciatic nerve, the thickness of the myelin sheath of the sural nerve, the axon area, and the axon cylindrical rate.
