| Diltiazem hydrochloride |
This product is a slow channel blocker. It combines with the slow channel in the action potential phase 2 to prevent calcium ions from entering the cell. It mainly acts selectively on vascular smooth muscle, dilates coronary arteries and collateral vessels, increases coronary flow, thereby improving blood flow in the ischemic area and limiting the expansion of the scope of myocardial infarction; it can dilate peripheral blood vessels, lower blood pressure, reduce cardiac load, reduce cardiac work and oxygen consumption, and improve myocardial energy metabolism, but the negative inotropic effect is slight at therapeutic doses. It has a non-competitive antagonistic effect on vasoactive substances such as catecholamines, acetylcholine, and histamine. In terms of electrophysiology, at therapeutic doses, it can prolong the effective refractory period and relative refractory period of the atrioventricular node, and prolong the P-R interval and A-H interval.
