Sodium copper chlorophyllin is a hematopoietic cell complex. Its hematopoietic effect may be due to its basic structure being similar to hemoglobin, which can promote hematopoiesis. It releases neutrophils from the bone marrow by increasing the excitability of the sympathetic nerves and with the participation of liver and adrenal gland function. Animal experiments have shown that it can improve the indexes of red blood cells, hemoglobin, platelets, etc. in mice with aplastic anemia caused by irradiation, and promote the recovery and regulation of multipotent stem cells, granulocyte-monocyte progenitor cells, erythroid progenitor cells and bone marrow stromal cells. Clinical studies have shown that this product can activate liver reticuloendothelial cells, enhance liver cell resistance and accelerate repair and regeneration.

Acts on dihydrofolate synthase, interfering with the first step of folic acid synthesis; combined with trimethoprim, it can double block the folic acid metabolism of bacteria and has a synergistic antibacterial effect

It acts on the second step of folic acid anabolism and selectively inhibits the action of dihydrofolate reductase; combined with sulfadiazine, it can double block the folic acid metabolism of bacteria and has a synergistic antibacterial effect.
