Anti-angina drug. This product belongs to the nitrate compound, which has the effect of preventing the free calcium ions in cells, increasing the permeability of cell membranes to potassium ions, dilating coronary blood vessels, continuously increasing coronary blood flow, and inhibiting coronary artery spasm. When dilating coronary blood vessels, it does not affect blood pressure, heart rate, myocardial contractility, and myocardial oxygen consumption. This product also has the effect of inhibiting platelet aggregation and preventing thrombosis.

It can directly stimulate adrenaline receptors, and can also indirectly stimulate adrenaline receptors by prompting adrenaline nerve endings to release norepinephrine. It has a stimulating effect on both alpha and beta receptors. It can dilate bronchi and constrict local blood vessels, and its action time is longer; it strengthens myocardial contractility, increases cardiac output, and makes venous return to the heart sufficient; it has a stronger central nervous system stimulating effect than adrenaline.

It has ① antihistamine effect, which can compete with histamine released from tissues for H1 receptors on effector cells, thereby stopping allergic reactions; ② at the same time, it inhibits central nervous system activity and causes sedative and hypnotic effects; ③ it enhances the effect of antitussive drugs.

It has a direct relaxant effect on the smooth muscles of the respiratory tract; it partly increases the intracellular cAMP content by inhibiting phosphodiesterase; it partly achieves bronchial dilation by releasing endogenous adrenaline and norepinephrine; as a purine receptor blocker, it can counteract the contractile effect of adenine and other substances on the respiratory tract; it enhances the contractility of the diaphragm to improve respiratory function.
