1. Improve hematopoietic function. Mice with hemorrhagic anemia were fed with Bazhen Decoction for 10 consecutive days, and the hemoglobin content increased and the red blood cells recovered. This product can also improve the anemic state of blood-deficient rats and increase red blood cells and hemoglobin. 2. Enhance immune function. Bazhen Decoction can enhance the phagocytic function of peritoneal macrophages in mice. For immunosuppressed animals, Bazhen Decoction can antagonize the in vitro lymphocyte proliferation caused by hydrocortisone and the inhibition of carbon particle clearance by the mouse mononuclear-phagocyte system caused by cyclophosphamide, as well as the delayed hypersensitivity reaction and hemolysin production of mouse foot pads caused by sheep red blood cells, and antagonize the inhibition of thymic atrophy and lymphocyte transformation, serum hemolysin and lectin production in mice caused by hydrocortisone. 3. Bazhen Decoction can increase the whole blood viscosity under high shear (80S-1) of normal rats, increase the wet weight and dry weight of in vitro thrombus, and reduce the wet weight, dry weight and thrombus length of in vitro thrombus in rats with blood stasis model induced by adrenaline plus ice water stress. Bazhen Decoction can reduce the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen content of aged rats, inhibit platelet aggregation, and reduce serum total cholesterol and triglyceride levels. 4 Other effects. Bazhen Decoction can adjust the intestinal flora imbalance of mice caused by 60Co irradiation, reduce intestinal bacterial translocation and plasma endotoxin levels, reduce ileal malondialdehyde content, and increase diamine oxidase activity in the intestinal mucosa.
