Vitamin U Belladonna Aluminum Magnesium Tablets

Vitamin U in this product can promote the regeneration of granulation tissue and mucosa; aluminum hydroxide and magnesium trisilicate are antacids that can neutralize excess stomach acid to relieve symptoms such as stomach pain and heartburn; belladonna fluid extract can inhibit gastric juice secretion and relieve pain caused by smooth muscle spasm.

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 50 mg of vitamin U (iodomethylmethionine), 2.6 mg of belladonna fluid extract, 123 mg of aluminum hydroxide, and 53 mg of magnesium trisilicate.

This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which is white after removing the colored coating; it has the special odor of vitamin U.

It is used to relieve gastrointestinal spasmodic pain, as well as stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux caused by excessive gastric acid. It can also be used for chronic gastritis.

Oral administration: Adults, 1 to 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day, after meals.

1 Long-term use in the elderly may lead to osteoporosis. 2 Rare eye pain, increased intraocular pressure, and rash. 3 Long-term use in patients with renal insufficiency may lead to aluminum accumulation poisoning and mental symptoms.

1. Patients with prostatic hypertrophy and glaucoma are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients with appendicitis or similar symptoms are prohibited from using this product. 3. Patients with fractures are prohibited from using this product.

Precautions for children: Not clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients may experience symptoms such as irritability, tremor, drowsiness or delirium at common doses, and are prone to antimuscarinic adverse reactions such as constipation, dry mouth and urinary retention (especially in men) and induce undiagnosed glaucoma. Elderly patients with intestinal relaxation and weakness, or with signs of paralytic intestinal obstruction, are at risk of complete intestinal obstruction. Therefore, elderly patients should use with caution.

1 Avoid taking other drugs while taking this product, because aluminum hydroxide can combine with other drugs and affect the efficacy. 2 This product can weaken the effects of metoclopramide and domperidone, so it is not suitable to be taken together. 3 If this product needs to be used in combination with H2 receptor antagonists such as cimetidine, at least 1 hour interval is required. 4 Taking this product with enteric-coated tablets can accelerate the dissolution of enteric-coated tablets, so they should not be used together. 5 If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
