Puerarin Injection

Puerarin is a flavonoid glycoside extracted from the root of Pueraria lobata or Pueraria lobata in the Leguminosae family. It is a vasodilator that can dilate coronary arteries and cerebral blood vessels, reduce myocardial oxygen consumption, improve microcirculation and resist platelet aggregation. Animal experiments have shown that: 1. Various total flavonoid compounds in Pueraria lobata have the effect of relaxing smooth muscles, while the contractile components may be substances such as choline, acetylcholine and carbazine R; 2. Pueraria lobata has a certain antihypertensive effect on normal and hypertensive animals; 3. Pueraria lobata total flavonoids and puerarin have a significant effect of dilating coronary arteries, which can dilate normal and spasmodic coronary arteries. After intravenous injection of 30 mg/Kg, coronary blood flow can increase by 40% and vascular resistance can decrease by 29%; 4. Puerarin can also inhibit the release of 5-HT in platelets induced by thrombin.

8-β-D-Glucopyranose-4',7-dihydroxyisoflavone

This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid. It is a solution prepared with 70% propylene glycol and is slightly viscous.

Used as an auxiliary treatment for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, retinal artery and vein occlusion, and sudden deafness.

Intravenous drip. 200-400 mg each time, add to 500 ml of 5% glucose injection and drip intravenously, once a day, 10-20 days as a course of treatment, can be used continuously for 2-3 courses. The total continuous dose for elderly people over 65 years old should not exceed 5 grams.

1Some patients experience temporary abdominal distension, nausea and other digestive tract reactions at the beginning of medication, which disappear on their own with continued medication. 2A small number of patients may experience allergic reactions such as rash, allergic asthma, anaphylactic shock, etc. If the above adverse reactions occur, stop the medication immediately and treat symptomatically. 3Occasionally, acute intravascular hemolysis: chills, fever, jaundice, back pain, darker urine, etc.

This drug is a compound containing phenolic hydroxyl groups. It turns yellow when it comes into contact with alkaline solutions and forms complexes with metal ions. Therefore, during use, it should not be placed in alkaline solutions for a long time and should avoid contact with metal ions.
