Indication

It is used to replenish body fluids, maintain electrolyte balance in the body, and supply carbohydrates. It is mostly used for fluid replacement in children.

Usage and Dosage

Intravenous drip. 250-500 ml per day or as directed by a doctor. The drip rate should not exceed 300 ml/hour (100 drops/minute). The general dosage for intravenous drip in children is 50-200 ml at a time; the administration rate can be increased or decreased according to age, weight and symptoms.

Adverse Reactions

When the intravenous drip rate is fast and the vein is thin, it is easy to irritate the venous lining and cause pain.

Precautions

1. It is contraindicated for patients with hyperkalemia. 2. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product.
