Indication
Used for various diseases caused by vitamin deficiency.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 10 grams each time, once a day. Take with warm water, or mix with milk, soy milk or other beverages.
Adverse Reactions
Long-term and high-dose use may cause vitamin D poisoning. The main symptoms are bone pain, myalgia, irritability, drowsiness, headache, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, constipation or diarrhea, metallic taste in the mouth, polyuria at night, and weight loss.
Precautions
1. Contraindicated in patients with hypervitaminosis D. 2. Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia. 3. Contraindicated in patients with hyperphosphatemia and renal rickets.
Drug Interactions
1. Hepatic enzyme inducers such as phenobarbital and phenytoin sodium can reduce the effect of vitamin D. 2. Sucralfate and other drugs can reduce the absorption of vitamin D. 3. Vitamin D can offset the effect of calcitonin. 4. Vitamin D may increase the toxic side effects of digitalis drugs. 5. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
