Gentian Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets

Gentian can stimulate taste receptors and gastric mucosa, reflexively excite the hypothalamic appetite center, increase the secretion of saliva and gastric juice, increase appetite, cause mild gastrointestinal congestion, and enhance absorption function. Sodium bicarbonate is an antacid that can neutralize excessive gastric acid. The combination of the two can play a stomachic and acid-resistant role.

This product is a compound preparation, each tablet contains 0.1g of gentian (medium powder) and 0.15g of sodium bicarbonate.

This product is light pink-brown to brown round tablets with a slightly spicy, salty and astringent taste.

Used for lack of appetite, excessive stomach acid, and indigestion.

Oral administration: Adults take 1 to 3 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.

Mild nausea may occur occasionally.

Contraindicated in patients with ulcers that may perforate.
