This product is an anti-anemia drug. Vitamin B12 participates in methyl conversion and folic acid metabolism in the body, and promotes the conversion of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate into tetrahydrofolate. When it is deficient, it leads to DNA synthesis disorders and affects the maturation of red blood cells. This product also promotes the conversion of methylmalonic acid into succinic acid and participates in the tricarboxylic acid cycle. This effect is related to the synthesis of nerve myelin lipids and the maintenance of the integrity of myelinated nerve fiber function. The nerve damage caused by vitamin B12 deficiency may be related to this.

This product is a pink to red clear liquid, odorless and tasteless.

It is mainly used for megaloblastic anemia and can also be used as an adjuvant treatment for neuritis.

Intramuscular injection, adults, 0.025-0.1 mg per day or 0.05-0.2 mg every other day. When used for neuritis, the dosage can be increased as appropriate.

Precautions for children: 25-100 μg/time, intramuscular injection, once a day or every other day. Avoid repeated administration to the same site, and be especially careful with newborns, premature infants, infants, and young children. Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear
