Usage and Dosage
Dilute 1-4 mg of this product in 500-750 ml of 0.9% saline or 5% glucose solution without calcium ions, and slowly drip intravenously for at least 2 hours. In the treatment of hypercalcemia, the blood calcium concentration should be strictly followed. Before treatment, 0.9% saline should be appropriately given for hydration therapy. Patients with moderate and severe hypercalcemia can be given a single dose of 2-4 mg.
Adverse Reactions
A few patients may experience elevated body temperature and sometimes flu-like symptoms, such as fever, chills, and bone and/or muscle pain.
