This product is a nitroimidazole derivative that can inhibit the redox reaction of amoeba and break the nitrogen chain of the protozoa. In vitro tests have shown that when the drug concentration is 1-2 mg/L, the histolytica amoeba can undergo morphological changes in 6-20 hours and all are killed within 24 hours. When the concentration is 0.2 mg/L, the histolytica amoeba can be killed within 72 hours. This product has a strong effect of killing trichomonas, and its mechanism is unknown. Metronidazole has a killing effect on cells and anaerobic microorganisms growing under hypoxic conditions. The metabolites generated when it is reduced in the human body also have anti-anaerobic effects, inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid, thereby interfering with the growth and reproduction of bacteria, and ultimately causing bacterial death.

This product is a milky white to light yellow torpedo-shaped suppository, and the auxiliary material is a fatty suppository base.

It is used to treat Trichomonas vaginitis. It can also be used to prevent and treat anaerobic infection after minor gynecological surgery.

Vaginal or rectal administration. Wash your hands and vulva (or anus) before use, tear off a suppository from the plastic shell, separate the front and back plastic sheets from the bottom, carefully pull them apart, take a plastic finger sleeve, put it on your index finger, take out the suppository, with the conical head facing the vagina (or anus), gently insert it, and push the suppository in with the index finger with the sleeve. Vaginal administration: Push into the deep vagina, 0.5g (1 tablet) once a night, for 7-10 days. Rectal administration: Push into the anus, so that the tail end of the suppository is about 2 cm away from the anus, 0.5g (1 piece) at a time, 2 to 3 times a day.
