Xanthinol Nicotinate Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological effects: Clinical trials and animal experiments have confirmed that nicotinic acid xanthinol has a series of pharmacological effects: reducing peripheral vascular resistance, increasing cardiac output, reducing venous pressure, activating fibrinolysis, reducing fibrinogen levels, preventing platelet aggregation, promoting the synthesis of pyrimidine nucleosides (NAD and NADP), increasing the concentration of adenine nucleosides (AMP, ADP and ATP), and finally hindering lipolysis and reducing elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Toxicological studies: The LD50 of nicotinic acid xanthinol for mice is 540 mg/kg intravenous injection; the LD50 of nicotinic acid xanthinol for rats is 750 mg/kg intravenous injection; the LD50 of nicotinic acid xanthinol for rabbits is 539 mg/kg intravenous injection. Due to its low toxicity, it is not suitable for oral administration of mice.
