Compound Sodium Chloride Injection
Function and Efficacy
Sodium ions are an important component for maintaining the osmotic pressure and capacity of extracellular fluid. Sodium also forms a buffer system in the form of sodium bicarbonate, which plays an important role in regulating the acid-base balance of body fluids. A certain concentration of sodium is a necessary condition for maintaining cell excitability and neuromuscular emergency response. Potassium is the main intracellular cation and an important component for maintaining intracellular osmotic pressure. Potassium participates in the regulation of acid-base balance by exchanging with extracellular hydrogen ions; potassium participates in the synthesis of sugar and protein and the energy metabolism of adenosine diphosphate into adenosine triphosphate, and also participates in the conduction of nerve impulses and the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at nerve endings. Calcium salts in the human body exist in bones to maintain bone hardness. Calcium can reduce the permeability of capillaries, increase the density of capillary walls, reduce exudation, and has anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and anti-allergic effects.

Potassium is the main intracellular cation and an important component for maintaining intracellular osmotic pressure. Potassium participates in the regulation of acid-base balance by exchanging hydrogen ions outside the cell. Potassium participates in the synthesis of sugar and protein and the energy metabolism of converting adenosine diphosphate into adenosine triphosphate. It also participates in the conduction of nerve impulses and the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at the nerve endings. More |

Appearance
This product is a colorless, clear liquid with a slightly salty taste.
Indication
It is used for various salt-deficiency dehydration diseases. It has more complete ingredients than normal saline and can be used instead of normal saline.
Usage and Dosage
Subcutaneous and intravenous drips can be given in 250ml, 500ml, or 1000ml volumes as needed.
Adverse Reactions
(1) Excessive or rapid infusion can cause water and sodium retention, resulting in edema, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, chest tightness, dyspnea, and even acute left heart failure. (2) Excessive or rapid administration of hypotonic sodium chloride can cause hemolysis, cerebral edema, etc.
Precautions
1. Edema diseases, such as nephrotic syndrome, ascites due to liver cirrhosis, congestive heart failure, acute left heart failure, cerebral edema and idiopathic edema; 2. Oliguria in acute renal failure, and patients with chronic renal failure with decreased urine volume and poor response to diuretics; 3. Hypertension and hypokalemia.
