Function and Efficacy

This product is a long-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. After entering the body, it is metabolized into diphenyl ethyl ester, which has the activity of inhibiting cyclooxygenase, reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins and taking effect. Animal experiments show that the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of this product is weaker than indomethacin, but stronger than aspirin. Acute toxicity test results: the oral LD50 of rats is 200-720 mg/kg, and the intraperitoneal injection LD50 is 265-575 mg/kg; the oral LD50 of mice is 795-1673 mg/kg, and the intraperitoneal injection LD50 is 506-811 mg/kg.

Appearance

This product is in the form of capsules.

Indication

It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthropathies, and gouty arthritis. It can also be used for toothache, postoperative pain, and traumatic pain.

Usage and Dosage

Oral. Common dosage for adults: 0.6g per day, taken once or twice. The total daily dosage for adults should not exceed 1.0g. Common dosage for children: Not established yet.

Adverse Reactions

The adverse reactions of this product are mainly gastrointestinal reactions, manifested as stomach pain, burning sensation in the stomach, nausea, and a few serious adverse reactions include gastric ulcer, bleeding, and even perforation. Dizziness, rash, mild decrease in white blood cell count, and slight increase in serum transferase are less common.

Precautions

(1) People who are allergic to this product should not use it. (2) People with peptic ulcer, severe liver and kidney damage, or aspirin-induced asthma should not use it. (3) Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children should not use it.

Precautions for children: Do not use. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Do not use. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients should be aware of renal toxicity due to decreased renal function.
