Appearance

This product is white or off-white tablets.

Indication

Oral administration is suitable for the following infections caused by pathogens sensitive to fosfomycin: 1. Intestinal infections: bacterial enteritis, bacillary dysentery. 2. Urinary tract infections: cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis. 3. Dermatological and soft tissue infections: furunculosis, anthrax, sweat gland inflammation, lymphadenitis, folliculitis. 4. Respiratory tract infections: nasopharyngitis, tonsillitis, tracheitis, early chronic bronchitis. 5. Ophthalmology: sty, dacryocystitis. 6. Gynecology: vaginitis, cervicitis.

Usage and Dosage

For oral administration, adults take 2-4 g of fosfomycin acid per day; children take 50-100 mg/kg per day based on body weight, divided into 3-4 doses.

Adverse Reactions

Mainly mild gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea, decreased appetite, upper abdominal discomfort, loose stools or mild diarrhea, etc. Generally, it does not affect the continued use of the drug. Occasionally, skin rash, eosinophilia, and elevated alanine aminotransferase may occur. No toxic reactions to the kidneys or blood system were observed.
