Lomefloxacin Aspartate Injection

Lomeza is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibacterial drug that has bactericidal effects on Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria. It has good antibacterial effects on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, ampicillin-resistant influenza bacilli, pipemidic acid-resistant Escherichia coli and bacteria resistant to other drugs. Its antibacterial mechanism is to inhibit the activity of bacterial DNA helicase, thereby inhibiting bacterial DNA transcription and replication, and has bactericidal effects on a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

The main ingredient of this product is lomefloxacin aspartate, and its chemical name is: 1-ethyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-7-(3-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid aspartate

This product is suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: 1. Respiratory tract infections: acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis with infection, acute bronchitis and pneumonia, etc. 2. Urinary and reproductive system infections: acute cystitis, acute pyelonephritis, complicated urinary tract infection, acute exacerbation of chronic urinary tract infection, acute and chronic prostatitis, and urethritis or cervicitis caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae (including those caused by enzyme-producing strains), etc. 3. Gastrointestinal bacterial infections: caused by Shigella, Salmonella, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc. 4. Infections in the abdominal cavity, bile duct, typhoid, etc. 5. Bone and joint infections. 6. Skin and soft tissue infections. 7. Systemic infections such as sepsis. 8. Other infections, such as sinusitis, otitis media, blepharitis, etc.

Intravenous drip, 0.2 g at a time, diluted in 250 ml of 5% glucose injection or sodium chloride injection, twice a day.

1. Common adverse reactions of lomefloxacin are mainly: headache, nausea, vomiting, photosensitivity, dizziness, diarrhea and abdominal pain, etc. 2. The following adverse reactions have been observed in lomefloxacin: Autonomic: increased sweating, thirst, flushing, etc.; Physical: fatigue, back pain, depression, weakness, etc.; Cardiovascular: palpitations, hyperactivity, hypertension, hypotension, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, etc.; Central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: tremor, dizziness, paresthesia, convulsions, epileptic seizures, etc.; Gastrointestinal: indigestion benign, vomiting, constipation, gastrointestinal bleeding, dysphagia, etc.; hematology: purpura, lymphadenopathy, thrombocytosis, anemia, etc.; liver, kidney: increased serum amino acid transferase, BUN value; metabolism: thirst, hyperglycemia; musculoskeletal: arthralgia, myalgia, leg cramps; ophthalmology: abnormal vision, conjunctivitis, photophobia, etc.; psychiatry: insomnia, neurosis, hallucinations, depression; reproductive system: female: candidiasis, vaginitis, menstrual abnormalities, etc.; male: epididymitis, orchitis. Respiratory system: respiratory tract infection, rhinitis, pharyngitis, dyspnea, etc. Skin/allergy: pruritus, urticaria, skin exfoliation, etc.; exudative multiforme erythema and angioneurotic edema may occasionally occur; special senses: abnormal taste. Urinary tract: hematuria, crystalluria, frequent urination, dysuria, anuria, etc. Local: phlebitis

Patients who are allergic to this product or other quinolones are contraindicated.

1. Abdominal discomfort or pain, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. 2. Central nervous system reactions: dizziness, headache, drowsiness or insomnia. 3. Allergic reactions: rash, itchy skin, occasionally exudative erythema multiforme and angioneurotic edema. Photosensitivity reactions are more common than other commonly used quinolones. 4. A small number of patients may experience increased serum aminotransferase and BUN values and decreased peripheral blood white blood cells, which are mostly mild and transient. 5. Occasionally, the following may occur: (1) epileptic seizures, mental abnormalities, irritability, confusion, hallucinations, and tremors. (2) interstitial nephritis manifestations such as hematuria, fever, and rash. (3) crystalluria, which is more common when used in high doses. (4) joint pain. (5) phlebitis.
