Fluticasone Propionate Powder

Function and Efficacy

This product is a glucocorticoid drug with strong local anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects.

Indication

This product is used to prevent and treat seasonal allergic rhinitis (including hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis.

Usage and Dosage

Nasal spray: spray the right nostril with the left hand and the left nostril with the right hand, avoiding spraying directly into the nasal septum. Adults and children over 12 years old: 2 sprays in each nostril, once a day (200 micrograms per day), preferably in the morning. Some patients need 2 sprays in each nostril, twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening until symptoms improve. When symptoms are controlled, the maintenance dose is 1 spray in each nostril, once a day. The maximum daily dose is no more than 4 sprays in each nostril.

Adverse Reactions

Very common: Nosebleed Common: Like other nasal inhalers, it has an unpleasant taste and odor after use, headaches, and can cause dryness and irritation of the nose and throat. Very rare: Allergic/allergic-like reactions, bronchospasm, rash, facial or tongue edema, nasal septum perforation, glaucoma, increased intraocular pressure and cataracts.

Precautions

Not yet clear.

Drug Interactions

Avoid using this product with ritonavir. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist for details.
