Indication
This product is suitable for various types of depression, including depression accompanied by anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder.
Usage and Dosage
The starting dose is 75 mg/day, divided into two or three times, taken with meals. The dose can be gradually increased according to the condition and tolerance. The maximum dose is generally 225 mg/day, divided into three times orally. The increase in dose to 75 mg/day should be at least 4 days apart. For patients with severe depression, it can be increased to 375 mg/day.
Adverse Reactions
Usually occur in the early stage of treatment, some of which are dose-related, common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, sweating, drowsiness, insomnia, dizziness, nervousness, dry mouth, anxiety, anorexia, weight loss, rash, male ejaculation abnormality or impotence. Less common adverse reactions include tachycardia, increased blood pressure and abnormal renal function, mild increase in serum cholesterol, blurred vision, and reversible bone marrow suppression.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product and those who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors; 2. It is used with caution in pregnant and lactating women; 3. It is used with caution in children; 4. It is used with caution in elderly patients.

Drug Interactions
1. When used in combination with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or monoamine oxidase inhibitors, it can cause hypertension, rigidity, myoclonus, involuntary movement, anxiety, impaired consciousness, and even coma and death. Therefore, when switching from one drug to another, a wash-out period of 7 to 14 days is required. 2. When used in combination with quinidine, the blood concentration of this product can be increased. 3. When used in combination with ?-receptor blockers propranolol, metoprolol, timolol or with tricyclic antidepressants amitriptyline, clomipramine, imipramine or with antiarrhythmic drugs propranolone, codeine and dextromethorphan, it can competitively inhibit the metabolism of this product. 4. When used in combination with cimetidine, the clearance rate of this product can be reduced.
