Xanthinol Nicotinate for Injection

This product is a vasodilator that directly acts on the smooth muscle of arterioles and capillaries, dilates blood vessels, improves blood rheology, and reduces peripheral vascular resistance. This product can promote glucose to pass through the blood-brain barrier, enhance the use of glucose and oxygen in brain cells, improve brain sugar metabolism and brain function. It also promotes fat metabolism and reduces hyperlipidemia, high cholesterol, and high fibrinogen.

The main ingredient of this product is: Xanthinol Nicotinate. Its chemical name is: 7-[2-hydroxy-3-(2-hydroxyethyl-methylamino)-propyl]theophylline nicotinate.

This product is a colorless clear liquid.

Ischemic cerebrovascular disease. It is also used as an auxiliary medicine for coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia and hyperfibrinogen.

Intravenous drip. The initial dose is 0.3g (1 vial) per day, gradually increasing to 0.6-0.9g (2-3 vials) per day, added to 500ml of 10% glucose injection and intravenously dripped.

Facial flushing, dry mouth, chest tightness, rash, erythema and wheals on the limbs. Very few patients experience cerebral hemorrhage and brain herniation.

It is contraindicated for patients with myocardial infarction in the acute stage, hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease, acute bleeding, dehydration, mitral stenosis and obvious heart failure.

It should not be used simultaneously with ganglionic blockers and sympathetic anti-drugs.
