Appearance
This product is a light brown suspension with a sweet taste; the dry suspension is a light yellow to light yellow-brown powder with a fragrant odor and a sweet taste.
Indication
Used for supplementing nutritional deficiencies after severe trauma, wasting diseases or surgery, and for supportive treatment of tumor radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, nasogastric feeding or gastric tube instillation, the dosage on the first day is 500~1000ml, and then gradually increase it or follow the doctor's advice.
Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, and diarrhea may occasionally occur.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for infants under three months old, patients with diseases that are not suitable for enteral nutrition, and patients with severe digestive tract and absorption disorders. 2. It should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, high-dose steroid therapy, and other glucose metabolism disorders.
