Desloratadine tablets
Function and Efficacy
When the oral dose of this product reaches 24 mg/kg/day (the exposure of desloratadine and its metabolites is approximately 130 times the AUC at the clinical recommended daily oral dose), it has no effect on the fertility of female rats; when the oral dose reaches 12 mg/kg (the exposure of desloratadine is approximately 45 times the AUC at the clinical recommended daily oral dose), the pregnancy rate of female rats decreases, the sperm count and sperm motility of male rats decrease, and testicular histological changes occur, indicating that the fertility of male rats decreases; when the oral dose is 3 mg/kg/day (the exposure of desloratadine and its metabolites is approximately 8 times the AUC at the clinical recommended daily oral dose), it has no effect on the fertility of rats.
