Compound Belladonna Aluminum Hydroxide Powder
Function and Efficacy
Aluminum hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, and sodium bicarbonate in this product are all antacids that can neutralize excessive gastric acid to relieve stomach burning sensation; belladonna extract can inhibit gastric acid secretion, relieve smooth muscle spasms, and delay gastric emptying. In addition to neutralizing gastric acid, calcium carbonate can also counteract the laxative effect caused by magnesium carbonate. Peppermint oil is a flavoring agent.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, each package contains 0.4 grams of aluminum hydroxide, 0.15 grams of magnesium carbonate, 0.25 grams of calcium carbonate, 0.2 grams of sodium bicarbonate, 0.0025 grams of belladonna extract, and 0.003 milliliters of peppermint oil.

Appearance
This product is a white or slightly yellow powder with a slightly salty taste and a peppermint oil smell.
Indication
Used to relieve stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux caused by excessive stomach acid.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. Adults, 2 packets each time, 3 times a day. Take after meals.
Adverse Reactions
1. Long-term use by the elderly may cause osteoporosis. 2. Long-term use by patients with renal insufficiency may cause aluminum accumulation poisoning and mental symptoms.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for patients with appendicitis or similar symptoms. 2. It is contraindicated for patients with prostate hypertrophy or glaucoma.

Drug Interactions
1 Avoid taking other drugs after taking this product, because aluminum hydroxide can combine with other drugs and affect the efficacy. 2 This product can weaken the effects of metoclopramide and domperidone. 3 This product is effective in relieving the pain symptoms of duodenal ulcer when taken together with H2 receptor antagonists such as cimetidine, but it is not recommended to use the two drugs together within 1 hour, because this product can reduce the absorption of cimetidine and other drugs. 4 This product can be taken together with enteric-coated tablets to accelerate the dissolution of enteric-coated tablets, and should not be used together. 5 If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
