Function and Efficacy
This product is involved in the formation of bones and the reconstruction of bone tissue after fracture, as well as muscle contraction, nerve transmission, coagulation mechanism, and can reduce the permeability of capillaries.
Usage and Dosage
Children aged 4-10: 2-3 bags per day; Children aged 11-17: 3 bags per day; take with warm water
Adverse Reactions
Belching, constipation. Occasionally, hypercalcemia and renal insufficiency may occur. Excessive and long-term use may cause rebound increase in gastric acid secretion.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hyperuricemia, hypercalciuria, kidney stones, and when taking digitalis drugs.
Drug Interactions
1. Drinking a lot of alcoholic beverages will inhibit the absorption of oral calcium. 2. When this product is used together with phenytoin sodium and tetracycline drugs, the absorption of both drugs is reduced. 3. Vitamin D, contraceptives, and estrogen can increase calcium absorption. 4. When this product is used in combination with thiazide diuretics, hypercalcemia is likely to occur. 5. When this product is used in combination with potassium-containing drugs, attention should be paid to the occurrence of arrhythmias.
