Bismuth Potassium Citrate Granules

This product is a gastric mucosal protective agent. It produces precipitation under gastric acid conditions, forming a diffuse protective layer covering the ulcer surface, promoting the regeneration of the ulcer mucosa and ulcer healing. This product also has the effects of reducing the activity of pepsin, increasing mucin secretion, and promoting the release of PGE2 from the mucosa.

The main ingredient of this product is potassium bismuth citrate, which is a bismuth-containing complex with uncertain composition.

This product is white or light yellow granules with a slightly sweet taste.

Anti-ulcer drugs. Used to treat gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, combined ulcer, multiple ulcer and anastomotic ulcer; chronic superficial gastritis, and when accompanied by Helicobacter pylori infection.

Oral administration, take with 30-50 ml warm water. Adults take 1 bag at a time, 4 times a day, the first 3 times half an hour before meals, the fourth time 2 hours after dinner; or 2 times a day, 2 bags each morning and evening. Continuous use for 2 or 4 weeks is a course of treatment (when used in combination or alone). If you continue to take it, follow the doctor's advice.

During medication, the mouth may have an ammonia smell, and the tongue and feces may turn black. Some patients may experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and constipation when taking the medicine.

It is contraindicated for patients with severe renal insufficiency and pregnant women. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product.
