Function and Efficacy

This product has a wide range of antiviral and immunomodulatory functions. Interferon binds to cell surface receptors, inducing cells to produce a variety of antiviral proteins, thereby inhibiting the replication of viruses in cells; it can enhance the specific cytotoxic effect of macrophages and lymphocytes on target cells by regulating immune function, effectively curbing the occurrence of viral invasion and infection; (enhancing the activity of natural killer cells, inhibiting the growth of tumor cells, clearing early malignant cells, etc.). Acute toxicity test: mice were injected with 3 times the human dose (calculated by body weight) of this product through the tail vein, and there was no acute toxic reaction. Long-term toxicity test: dogs were injected with 5.6 times and 28 times the human dose; rats were injected with 5.6 times, 28 times and 140 times the human dose (all calculated by body weight), and the injections were continued for 3 months and 6 months respectively. All animals survived and no toxic reactions were observed. No pathological changes of toxicological significance were found in blood and bone marrow smears and organ pathological sections.

Appearance

Indication

It is used to treat viral diseases of the eye, and has significant effects on herpes simplex eye diseases, including herpes simplex eyelid, herpes simplex conjunctivitis, keratitis (dendritic, geographic, disciform, and parenchymal keratitis), and herpes simplex iridocyclitis; it also has good effects on herpes zoster eye diseases (such as herpes zoster eyelid, herpes zoster keratitis, scleritis, iridocyclitis), adenoviral conjunctivitis, and epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis.

Usage and Dosage

Unscrew the bottle cap, drop one drop of this medicine into the conjunctival sac, and close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes after dropping. During the acute inflammatory period, use it 4 to 6 times a day, and gradually reduce it to 2 to 3 times a day as the condition improves. After basic recovery, change it to once a day, and continue to use it for one week before stopping the drug. Patients with herpes simplex keratitis with a history of multiple recurrences can use this product every time they have a cold, fever or other inducements, such as fatigue, and irregular life, twice a day for three consecutive days to prevent recurrence.

Adverse Reactions

Generally, there are no adverse reactions. Occasionally, there may be transient mild conjunctival congestion, a small amount of secretions, sticky feeling, eye stinging, itching and other symptoms, but they can be tolerated and continued medication. When the condition improves, the number of drops can be reduced as appropriate, and the symptoms will be relieved and disappear.
