Asarone injection

This product can counteract histamine and acetylcholine, relieve bronchospasm and calm asthma, and also has a strong inhibitory effect on the cough center; this product can increase secretion, thin thick sputum, reduce sputum viscosity, and make it easier to cough up; this product has a similar effect as aminophylline in relaxing bronchial smooth muscles. This product can also increase the electrical stimulation valve of the cerebral cortex, inhibit the synaptic transmission of electrical stimulation and the spread of epileptic electricity.

The main component of this product is asarone; its chemical name is: (E)-2,4,5-trimethoxy-1-propenylbenzene. Molecular formula: C12H16O3 Molecular weight: 208.26

This product is white or off-white loose mass or powder.

Used for pneumonia, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with cough, wheezing, etc.

Intravenous drip: Adults: 16-24 mg (2-3 vials) once, Children over 6 years old: 0.5 mg/kg once, diluted with 5% or 10% glucose injection to a 0.01%-0.02% solution, twice a day.

1. Systemic damage: anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic-like reaction, allergic reaction, fever, chills, edema, pallor, discomfort, fatigue, sweating, back pain, syncope. 2. Skin and its appendages damage: rash, itching, urticaria, maculopapular rash, erythematous rash. 3. Digestive system damage: nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, dry mouth, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea. 4. Respiratory system damage: dyspnea, chest tightness, laryngeal edema, shortness of breath, cough. 5. Nervous system damage: dizziness, headache, vertigo, drowsiness. 6. Cardiovascular system damage: flushing, palpitations, tachycardia, arrhythmia, facial flushing, cyanosis.

People who are allergic to the ingredients in this product are prohibited from using it, and those with allergic constitutions should use it with caution.

Note for children: Not for use in children under 6 years old.
