Indication

1. It is used for memory impairment and mild to moderate brain dysfunction after acute cerebrovascular accident, brain trauma, surgery, and encephalitis. It can also be used to treat intracranial hypertension caused by brain trauma. 2. It is used for developmental delay in children. 3. It is used for senile brain dysfunction. It has an improving effect on slow reaction, drowsiness, dizziness, and mental activity reduction caused by aging. 4. It can also be used as an auxiliary treatment for alcoholic encephalopathy, myoclonic epilepsy, and neurological complications of sickle cell anemia. It can also be used for memory and thinking disorders after carbon monoxide poisoning.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration, 0.8-1.6g (4-8 capsules) each time, 3 times a day. The dosage for children is halved.

Adverse Reactions

1. Neuroticism, anxiety, excitability, irritability, excessive exercise, dizziness, headache, sleep disorders and depression can be seen in the central nervous system. These symptoms are not serious and have nothing to do with the dose. For patients with Huntington's chorea, taking this drug may cause symptoms to worsen. There are reports that patients with secondary hypothyroidism have become irritable, irritable, emotionally unstable, poor judgment, mental confusion, orientation and sleep disorders after using this drug during thyroid hormone supplementation. 2. Common gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weight gain. The severity of the symptoms is directly related to the dosage of the drug, and the above symptoms may disappear after stopping the drug. 3. Mild liver damage is occasionally seen in the liver, manifested as mild elevation of aminotransferase, but it is unrelated to the dosage of the drug. 4. Rashes and urticaria are occasionally seen on the skin.

Precautions

(1) Those who are allergic to this drug (foreign data). (2) Those with extrapyramidal diseases, especially Huntington's chorea. (3) Those with severe liver and kidney dysfunction. (4) Pregnant women. (5) Newborns.
